Congratulations to Rufus! Beyond being proud, as a mom, I imagine it must make your heart full that your boys are thriving in France. I know that is how I feel seeing my child adapting and enjoying her new surroundings in Ireland. Congratulations to you and your apricot harvest. May your crop double every year. The tart you made looks delicious 😋. Greatful to be returning to see you next spring. Hoping your 2026 fills up quickly.

Well done Rufus , what a great achievement.

Your apricot tart looks yummy.

We had rain one day last week. More needed.

Naughty Tilly , it's so scary when they don't come home

The Summer is whizzing by. Waiting for my Dahlias to flower. Just two, not loads like you. Lovely read as always. Thank you 🩵

It’s great when someone in your family imprints a smile on your face and makes you proud! Glad that Tilly is back. I roasted my apricots in vanilla sugar and you inspired me to use them for a tart! Your flower arrangement are always beautiful!

Congratulations Rufus, very impressive especially as French is your second language. Oh we could do with rain in Herefordshire, just come back from two weeks in very hot Burgundy, my garden well is in a vey sorry state lost quite a few no a lot of the plants I planted before we went away but this morning I see a Morning Glory flower so all is not lost.

Congratulations to Rufus, & thank goodness Tilly is back. A small reminder that dogs, horses etc are domesticated, but cats are independent, and just choose to live with us!

Congratulations to Rufus and good news that naughty Tilly returned home safely. Perhaps they like to worry us from time to time to remind us how much they are loved. Sitting here reading your journal with my little, deaf tabby draped over my lap and hoping he has grown out of adventuring beyond the garden as it is impossible to find him as he can't hear you calling.
